wow. it's been such a beautiful week of sunshine here in Vancouver and the
greater northwest. it's really changed my mood for the better. today I went and
got a haircut at a new place called Le's salon in vancouver. it's where all the
poor dudes with trucks and Asian folks go. very economical and just as good as
my previous high $$$ haircut Lady. also I went to the goodwill, and saw some
cool boomboxes but I already have too many of those. also went to go look for a
black T-shirt which took me to four different stores - can you tell him on a
clothing mission? and also Ikea for a laundry basket. of course the whole time I
was in Sandy, the Wonder car, which has been running very nicely since I put new
air filters in, with the occasional puff of smoke if I'm struggling going up a
hill. I'm looking very much forward to going down to Eugene to play at the
newest version of John Henry's on Saturday April 26th. I hope some friends come
out! band practice was really fun last night. we did two Who songs just for fun,
behind Blue eyes and tattoo. I can't sing them anything like the originals but
it's so fun to play with my awesome rhythm section. those guys really kill it.
